I cannot figure out how to download the templates. The computer asks : is computer hooked up?, Is browser on, and try later.   What am I doing wrong?

NEVER hit the Enter key multiple times to create blank lines. It won't create any blank lines at all in many eReaders once the book is converted to HTML inside your Mobi or ePub files. Always create blank lines with a style that includes a bottom or top margin in it of 12 pts for each blank line. If your eBook is using 12 pt for the body text (and it should be), then a 12 pt bottom margin on a paragraph will be the equivalent of 1em of space in HTML which is exactly what you want.

    Helen,
This is a life saver! Would you mind if I used your video and directed people to it in a blog post on my blog Sher A. Hart: Written Art? We focus on children's books but also like to provide helpful tips on all things writing and this certainly qualifies. Thanks!

Thank you for the video.  I have Word 2013 and was still able to make my ebook template using your video.  Any help on inserting pictures in the ebooks without letting them bounce all over the document when I'm converting to epub?

With your headers, footers and page breaks, your book will be a mess on a e-readers that require a flexible flow of text. Your template is for print. Ebooks are different.

An ebook is the generic term for a book delivered electronically. ePub is one of the possible formats you can publish your book in.
