Some sheets have blank cells, so headings are easier to read. If you want to sort or filter the list, you need to fill in the blanks, by copying the value from above.

This video shows a quick way to select and fill all the blanks, and use a mouse shortcut to change the formulas to values.

  2. hi im using a file downloaded from SAP in excel format but when i apply the same after selecting the blanks in the the dialog box i get an error as no  blanks were found why is it?how to solve it
