Homeschool Planning Using Microsoft’s OneNote

About this tutorial:

Video duration: 12:14
As I incorporated more digital resources, like Netflix videos and online articles, into our homeschool days, I needed a better way to plan. Paper & pen weren’t cutting it anymore! After trying a few online planners, OneNote came to the rescue of my history & science planning!

Last year I decided to ditch the paper planner and go digital. I was all done setting up Google Classroom when, I don't remember why, I came across OneNote. I fell in love instantly. Never used Google. lol There's very little out there on homeschool planning using it. Like you I also think it is amazing. Can't tell you how thrilled I am to find another homeschool mom using OneNote.

Did you find it glitchy at all? I use one note for planning for my 4 kids. Now this is my first year homeschooling, I used Easy Peasy. My notebook was for the school year, I had a section for each kid, and then the pages inside each notebook was broken down into daily pages which listed everything for the kids to do for that day, with checkboxes. I would copy and paste things from one kids pages to another kids pages…and moving back and forth got kind of glitchy, and if I ever tried to paste over something, forget it…it locked up and I'd have to reload the page! That's one big reason I am changing curriculums, so I (hopefully) don't have to worry one note anymore.

I'm so excited about your tutorial! I just discovered OneNote a few months ago and I LOVE it! Not sure I'm using it to it's full potential though. I watched a few tutorials but you are right there isn't a lot that is geared towards homeschool for it.

I'm looking forward to your tutorial. I used online paid planning this year and I liked a lot of it but some didn't work. Do you plan during the summer?
