Heres a quick way to change all font:
    1)Copy/Paste this into Note Pad
2)Save As w/e you want with ".reg" at end of name
3)double click the file and merge with registry

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionFonts]
    "Segoe UI (TrueType)"=""
    "Segoe UI Bold (TrueType)"=""
    "Segoe UI Bold Italic (TrueType)"=""
    "Segoe UI Italic (TrueType)"=""
    "Segoe UI Light (TrueType)"=""
    "Segoe UI Semibold (TrueType)"=""
    "Segoe UI Symbol (TrueType)"=""

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionFontSubstitutes]

    "Segoe UI"="Name of your font"

IT WORKS…….. u just have to type exact name of your font………… u can do that by opening fonts folder(Run–>fonts) then search for your desired font, open it… then you will see types of your fonts….. like Times New Roman regular, Time New Roman Bold……

you have to choose name from there………..for me…. i chose Segoe UI Regular……. and it worked……. Thanks

I downloaded a custom font, and I want to use it as the default windows font. Am I supposed to copy into Value Data exactly what is written in the Data columns for the font I want? Or am I supposed to just copy the name of the font?

This will cause controls in lots of software products to no longer fit in the space they were designed for. You might get a word wrapped to a new line and not readable. I replaced Sans Serif with Tahoma, which are quite similar but still not identical, and had this problem. If the authors have allowed some slack space in the frame that surrounds radio buttons and chekboxes, then they will look okay.

i couldn't find a guide/howto for windows 10, so i tried this one (on win10) and it worked, but as some people already stated below, that replaces the standard font only on some places.
i wasn't able to find "official" options that would let me change the font completely, too.

can someone explain, link to a/create a video-tut./-howto, concerning "how to replace your win10 standard font completely"?
any help would really be appreciated!
