How to type intersection symbol in Microsoft Word?

The intersection symbol (∩) can be inserted into Word by first typing A4F5 followed by pressing alt x. Alternatively intersection can be found in symbols under the insert tab.

The intersection symbol is used in the branch of mathematics called set theory where it represents objects or data that belongs to both groups. For example A∩B means the data belongs to set A and set B.
