MacOS High Sierra New Features

About this tutorial:

Video duration: 7:41
MacOS High Sierra (10.13) is pretty lightweight in features. The biggest changes take place under the hood of your Mac and at this time it is only suggested that users with a solid state drive (SSD) even consider upgrading at this time. THAT being said, I strongly recommend NOT upgrading until this OS is out for at least a month.

Anytime you are upgrading your Mac, you have to consider the risk/benefit factor. There simply aren’t many improvements here, folks. Think it over carefully.

Note: There are a few changes in High Sierra that I felt were frankly so dull that I didn’t even feel…

I have a new Macbook air, downloaded hi sierra to see if I would like it. Now, when I design something in adobe illustrator and try to save it, it goes straight to trash and I cannot stop it. WTH do I do to stop this?

Added the new High Sierra operation on November 9 2017, and the next day my Apple was in the shop having to be sorted out, after having the new upgrade I was devastated.  They tried a proper High Sierra install over the corrupted one but it wouldn't work
so they had to reinstall a new operation system as if my Apple is new.  So I'm afraid now again, to install anything as I can't keep running with my machine back and forth to the shop,  thank you David for everything you teach us.

Thanks for the tutorial. Everything I see and learn about the update compels me to stay away from it. Once I always updated, having absolute trust in Apple updates, not any more. My MBP is working fine with Sierra, no need to change.

David I have the last 17" MacBook Pro from 2011. I upgraded the HD to an SSD. My question is do you think my machine is to old to upgrade to High Sierra?

Thank for the video David. Would you say most of the new bugs have been worked out now? or should one wait longer before upgrading from Sierra? thanks!

I have a MacBook Pro mid-2012, I still use Yosemite (regretfully!). Upon changing to Yosemite my laptop became extremely slow, so I am afraid to change to anything else. Several trips to Apple shop, and countless hours online with Apple help folks did not help. Any reason to think that switching to Sierra or High Sierra may help?
