Just went through Michael and am still waiting on electricity. My town has been completely obliterated. I definitely have a newfound compassion for anyone going through these type storms.

This is off topic, kind of. Mark, I read your Twitter post about there being a shortage of trades people to help in Florida. This has been a ongoing issue for the past few years. If you look up Mike Rowe ( the former host of the TV show Dirty Jobs) he has been all over this issue, even has a scholarship program for it, but it has only gotten traction within certain circles. He has also been in front of Congress about it…. I'll leave it at that.

I Still think the gradient between high and low pressure in NYC could lead to wind gusts on the order of 50-60mph easily. Anyway, that is where I focus on because of course I work/live here lol. Definitely won't become as strong of a Low as past model runs several days ago. But the difference in gradient from say a 995mb low and then having 1030mb high north of my area could certainly bring high winds here.

Mark why keep trying to do the tap-dance, just come out and admit it, climate change is real, and it's more of a nightmare than we thought it would be.

Also concerned about November 2nd and 3rd for my area, GFS and ECMWF are both showing a strong cold front, bringing cooler temps, but what gets me is that the temps get very warm the day it passes. Ill keep watch of it, maybe some severe weather out of it.
