The NEW Google Calendar – 2018 Tutorial

About this tutorial:

Video duration: 14:
Learn how to use the NEW (as of 2018) Google Calendar to organize your life. Google Calendar makes it easy to manage multiple calendars within one calendar view so you can see how work, family, and public calendars may conflict with each other. Because your Google Calendar lives in “the cloud,” you can check it anywhere you have an Internet connection, including on smart phones and other mobile devices. #edtech #googlecalendar

why my event creation window is different? It doesn't allow me to choose the calendar nor switch from event to reminder, how's that possible?

Hi ! I am an ESL teacher. I used to use an apple computer and I used its calendar to schedule my classes . Now I switched to windows and I'm using google calendar. One thing I miss very much is the countdown to the next event. Do you know a way to do that on google calendar? Thanks for your help!!

Does anyone know how to change an attachment picture to a thumbnail easily viewable instead of having to go to a new screen?

You mention that you can "recieve an email in case you're out and about away from your computer"

Why not just use the notifications and recover them via your phone? Seems pretty stupid to use google calendar if you don't use an android phone.

in Outlook I could print a range of months. There is no option in Google that I can see. Printing one month at a time when you want a year of months is time consuming.

The hardest thing to figure out these days is how to put the calendar in the apps launcher. No one addresses that.

It is so incredibly annoying how some basic features either don't always function correctly, or they aren't available in the first place.

Can you make video on accepting calendar invitations and then correcting the hour and sending / sharing the updated info to everybody else? I had a very bad experience that it only corrected on my calendar – in spite having editing rights on the google cal event someone sent to me – but the corrected hours, were only in my calender and not updated in the cals of all the others…. everybody arrived at the wrong time.

It defies all logic. What I would dearly love to know is why technology providers constantly "FIX" everything that ain't broken. I have a sneaking suspicion that there is embedded code in the new version that further encroaches on the privacy of users.Notice the phrase "share", it is everywhere

CalRinger – Persistent ringing reminders for Google Calendar events

I have developed android app which gives persistent ringing reminders for calendar events. The reminders will keep ringing until explicitly dismissed.

As opposed to default alert notifications which are prone to be missed as they just disappear after a short while.

I am sure it will be game changer for those users who rely heavily on Google calendar events for day to day life.

Hi ,I have a problem setting up reminders in my Gcal. When I click the month view, only the Events and Tasks are available. Not the Reminder. I tried clicking day, week, and when I do that, only Event will appear and not Tasks. But when I click the month view, Tasks appears, but still not the Reminders. Is there a paid version of Google Calendar, and maybe that is why it(Reminder feature) is not appearing in mine?
