    You can save to pdf too.

    I used Libre Office on Linux for some time and still have many .ODT and ODS files. Office 2016 has no problem with these although Excel can sometimes have formatting problems with complex spreadsheets.

    I agree that changing to Office format before sending files outside your own systems is a good plan.

    Thank you for this video.
    Since i wiped out my daughters Word program when fixing her laptop, she wants me to buy a new version of Word. I refuse to do that.
