So, can I send hi-res mesh to maya, retopologize and UV it, and than bring it back to recap and reproject textures?
And althought what about metallic and roughness maps?

Went through all the steps and had great success creating a high quality mesh of a vehicle, however the 8K texture file is very low quality, unlike the 8K you would get using photographs in (Recap Photo) instead of Faro Scans in Recap Pro.

so it seems theres no way of turning any image into mesh now. need files from laser scanners, some industrial high grade stuff. remake is gone, but they said recap photo could do it….

    Hi there!
I'm having issues with Recap 360: the elaboration of meshes is very, very slow: it's normal?
    …like 0% process on 30 minutes.
I'm sampling only one façade, nothing too heavy, and I really don't know how to solve this!

Mine says that it only works on structured scans… whatever that is.
Can't say that I'm impressed with the choice to make it a cloud function. Nor impressed that it doesn't work at all

Hi! If i am correct, an unstructured scan cannot be cleaned up. Is there any way to convert it in order to get such a possibility? Thanks
