Word 2010: Hyperlinks

About this tutorial:

Video duration: 3:

Whenever you use the Web, you are using hyperlinks to navigate from one web page to another. Sometimes, a hyperlink will link to a different section of the same page. If you want to include a web address or email address in your Word document, you can format it as a hyperlink for a person to click on.

In this lesson, you will learn the basics of working with hyperlinks, including how to insert and remove them in your Word document.

Hyperlinks have two basic parts: the address of the web page, email address, or other location that they are linking…

  1. Is it possible to hyperlink to another page in the same document?
I recently wrote a 23 paged essay and I wish I could go to any page I want in a click.
For example, I'll have a contents page with all the pages. Then I click 'Page 12' on the contents then it takes me there.
Please reply if you have any ideas how to do that or links to videos showing you how.

  2. Nice and simple. I however do a lot of highlight, copy, and paste. So much easier to avoid typos. Going back and double checking the actual link is always a must exercise.
Keep up the good, crisp work.
