    Seriously, why the heck did I ever subscribed?
    Are you serious with this?
    "object reference not set to an instance of an object" means that you've not initialized a variable type of reference, it's not a problem with your webcam, it's a problem with your code, it's odd how you have so many videos but so little knowledge regarding programming.

    Hi, I wish to record the video obtained through webcam by capturing images at every second using a timer, but as soon as I press capture the video from webcam hangs and all the images obtained are of the frozen video. Can you suggest me a solution to this?

    You need to download CyberLink YouCam 7 or newer version and that's it to overcome that "Object refe.. error.

    This is nice, but there is no way to pass in the camera information. You are stuck using the built in forms to set up the proper camera.
    Having the source code for the DLL would be very helpful.

    EVERYBODY WHO HAS THE PROBLEM STOPING THE WEBCAM AND STARTING IT AGAIN WITHOUT QUITTING THE PROGRAM, ADD THIS TO BUTTON 3 OR "THE STOP BUTTON"

    private void button3_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
            {
                cam.Stop();
                bit = null;
            }

    BIT = NULL;

    I get the same null exception error as you did and my webcam is working perfectly. I have found that many Window's 7 users are having this issue. Do you know what is causing the error?
