Debugging JavaScript in chrome

To debug JavaScript in Google chrome use developer tools.

To launch Developer Tools in Google chrome
1. Click on Customise and Control Google chrome button on the top right corner of the browser window
2. From the More tools option, select Developer tools

Alternatively you can also use the keyboard shortcut F12.

You can find JavaScript errors if any in the developer tools.

Use the Console tab in the developer tools to find the source file of the JavaScript that caused the error….

    thank you so much for this video. Its the shortest and simplest tutorial I have come across which explains how to use chrome browser for javascript debugging.

    Sir…while running js script code in console it's showing any preview and showing failed to load resource file : err_ failed…pls. help me out

    Excellent tutorial! Too bad I couldnt fix my error as it doesnt show any. My problem is when I click on a button it refreshes my page instead of showing what's it suppose to show.

    Time to watch more and maybe choose specific framework :}
    Final word: was hard to watch how you fight your IDE. Every time you back and change your brackets position..

    i need my samsung Tab to be debugged in fire fox …this firefox.. extention not helping for me
    is there any way to debug ,,i tried with WEBIDE and remote enabling option on both device and desktop
    but did not get any solutions…..PLZ let me know that will be of great help

    So if you have a variable that needs an input, it will give you an error if you debug before running that input right?

    Additionally, you can right-click and choose 'Inspect Element' to enter the Developer Tools Menu
