Common issues:

1. PDF Reader or Acrobat is out of date.
2. The PDF Reader or Acrobat installation or update is damaged or corrupt.
3. The PDF file is damaged or corrupt.
4. PDF file type is Locked or Protected..
5. PDF file is not compatible.
6. Suspicious PDF

Solution:

1. Check for PDF Reader Updates
2. Try and Repair PDF Reader with Repair Installation
3. Temporary disable sandbox protection.
4. Try another PDF Reader.
5. Uninstall and Reinstall
6. Upgrade to new version of Acrobat, Foxit Reader or Microsoft Edge pdf viewer

    i have a completely different problem .Whenever I try to open any apps of my computer every apps get o pened as vlc and the programme finallly gets failed.can you please fix this?

    Britec (sometimes on help desks get this a Lot) If was made in other reader then change
    to program installed (so right click the file Properties – change and program installed on your system (open with work too but is one off )

    I moved to Linux Mint because i had to try and fix so many things on 10 that i didn't have time to do anything else on the computer.

    How about how to nuke Edge from orbit so it doesn't change the default apps and revert to Edge being the default app for .pdf's?

    Do you have a video about how to put your date from a HDD to a SSD in a laptop?
    I can not find one on YT. and when I find one they say I have to use software that will cost me 15euro

    nice fix Brain. But you could also install sumatra pdf and set it as default pdf viewer. It's the best solution.
