How To… Create a Random Data Sample in Excel 2013

About this tutorial:

Video duration: 4:34
When you need to select a sample from a population for analysis, it is important that you are sure that the sample is randomly drawn from the population. This will remove bias – if you do not use random selection the sample could favour selection for certain groups, possibly without you even realizing it. Learn how to use Data Analysis tools to let Excel randomly select sample data for you.

Requires Excel’s Data Analysis Toolpak Add-In.

Thanks for this informative video-tutorial Dr Eugene, I can now utilise the 'data-analysis tool-pack' more effectively with the help of your video in relation to sampling data 🙂
