A relationship between tables in an Access database, is a link enabling records within different tables to reference each other.
We can simplify our data recording and entry by creating separate tables and create relationships between these separate tables so that they can reference each other. This will reduce the amount of data stored, entered and minimise opportunities for data entry mistakes.
