    Thanks! It actually worked for me when I changed the "Switch Keyboard Layout" setting from "Ctrl+Shift" to "Not Assigned". Confusing, but it's not working…

    I have another file, several now, where first columns get permanently hidden. No youtube vids have helped – stuck!
