sir, it is not working, My concern is to calculate the exact cost of assigned field staff(i.e working time: 08:00 am to 20:00 pm). I have created calendar for office staff (i.e working time: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm) which is selected as base calendar. Working days in week is same for both staff. In file –> option —-> Schedule: entered Timing and working hours as per timing of Office staff. Also selected office calendar in in task sheet(project information ribbon).

when i entered the task and duration, it show starting and finishing date & time as per base calendar of office staff, now assigned the field staff which has field calender(same timing for assigned all field staff as defined in the field calendar) but it does not take changes in starting and finishing date & time also in resource usage sheet for assigned staff, it considered office hours i.e 08 hours instead of 12 hours as per calendar of assigned field staff. thus cost of assigned field staff is not calculated as per field hours.
Kindly provide your expert guidance on the above matter.

sir, thank you for providing such comprehensive information. Is it possible to apply two calendar of having different work timing like for office and field ? office calendar assign in task sheet(project information ribbon) and field calendar assign for resource sheet in MS project professional (MSO) 2016. I am doing as said above, but cost for assigned resource is not calculating as per field calendar of that resource.
