The pencil has a unique battery in the bluetooth part in the form of a lentil. Do they also wear out and should be changed over time? Well, the bluetooh does not turn on but the writing and the other buttons still work correctly.

Same as Jose, nothing happens after blinking? I guess it's Windows, so, nothing working is the norm?

My surface Pro 4 Pen works fine with some apliccations. But I've an issue using the surface Pro 4 pen in Geogebra. The pen doesn't work as it ussually does witn one note for example. I have to draw and do everything with a regular mouse or with my finger. Now I also notice that it fails in writting even in testing options provided by windows. But is fine with some applications specially Onenote. Battery is at 65%. I need ideas to fix it.

You actually don't need to pair it to draw/erase with it, you only pair it in order to use the Bluetooth button at the top for opening OneNote, taking screenshots and launching cortana…
