Microsoft Teams | New Meeting Experience – First Look

About this tutorial:

Video duration: 00:05:50
In this video we’re going to have a first look at the new meeting experience in Microsoft Teams – this update will allow us to meet in a separate window, move the toolbar out of the way and enable the other features like Together and Gallery Mode. I’ll show you how to turn it on and what the benefits are, and we’ll see if Microsoft is finally catching up with Zoom.

Can you set the camera to automatically load your blurred background every time as a default? I keep forgetting do it before meeting starts. Working out of my bedroom and want to give the perception that I truly am a professional.

If we had the ability to sketch on a shared screen, my architecture firm would be able to ditch all our other meeting apps!

The planned demic was in part a publicity stunt for Teams. Guy's a genius.

I like some of the new changes but when you are presenting you still can't see people you are presenting to. That is something, that as a teacher, I have really struggled with. I want to be able to share a screen but also see at least some people along the bottom of the screen.

After so much time, Microsoft still cannot get it right. Where is the breakout session feature? All these other updates are minor issues for our user community. We moved away from Team that we already have and pay for the Zoom because of the Breakout session, period. What a disappointment!

Can someone explain to me why a billion dollar company takes so long to make minor features happen? :/ Fullscreen for example.
