I lost the ability to scroll vertically between all pages. When creating a new document, the vertical scroll bar is present and you can scroll up and down using the mouse wheel as you do in this video. However, something unknown occurred that caused my vertical scroll bar to disappear and I can only navigate pages by double clicking in the pages panel. This is making formatting the whole file a real pain, any help?

Why don't you use your baseline grid to align text?

Clicking the red cross wasn't working for me when I split the columns into four.

You are better than Lynda.org. I swear you explain very very good. I'm sure your content has improved since this one but it would be nice to have some sort of annotation mentioning the shortcut. Still, very very good. Relaxing even.

Thank you for the information – I was wondering if you could help with a problem with some text. I have two columns of text. In the second column if I delete a paragraph (block the text and delete it), when I go back to the first column, the text that put in does not go to the bottom on the first column, it starts the text automatically at the top of the second column…leaving a large space at the bottom of the first column. I have tried to figure out what is wrong, it does not do that on the other pages. Any assistance would be appreciated!!!!

I've watched many tutorials on InDesign and I always go back to yours as you explain everything so simply and your instructions are easy to understand. Whenever I start a new project, I always review three of your tutorials as a refresher course! Thanks so much.
