This video was created to show my approach for capturing notes during a meeting. It is intended to provide project coordinators advice, or techniques to practice, for building their listening and note taking skills. You can use other tools besides notepad, such as OneNote, Excel, etc. If you’re lucky, you can record the conversation, but that isn’t always an option. I continue to practice this approach daily and still find it useful in my career.
You can also use meeting minute templates, which have default reminders for capturing action items, due dates, meeting participants, etc….
