I know that I mentioned version 10.1 and specifically the Active Password Changer. I really like that version of Active Password Changer because it is so much easier and nicer looking. I did not want to use two different versions and make it even more confusing.

As always, thanks for watching!

Stupid kid. Are you doing a data recovery or a password reset ? This is a curse. May your data problem continues to happen for life.

Hirens won't read my ssd drive on my laptop

I have a 1 TB hard drive that came out of a WD My Book NAS drive (that would no longer show on my network) that I put in a SATA to USB drive adapter (with external power) and connected it to my Windows 7 laptop, in "Disk Management" it shows the drive, but it shows it as "unallocated" with only properties and help available when I right click on the disk. It is showing the correct disk size, but it is all "unallocated", will Hirens allow me to get the files off this drive and put on a new drive? I'm not sure what file format the disk or what it saved the files in (I'm guessing it's something besides FAT32 or NTFS format) as Windows can't read it. I was thinking EXT3 (Linux), but when I tried to see if a program called Ext2FSD would show the drive contents, it didn't, it just showed the drive and drive size. If this doesn't allow me to get the files, what can I do to get the files from this drive?

    Thanks.

the auto-burn app, burn.exe doesn't work on a mac. If the pc was working, I wouldn't need this CD. 🙂 But since it is dead as a doornail, I am using the iMac to deal with this. I am a bit stuck since the hirens folks must think we all have several pc's lying around. I don't have a burner program since I don't recall when I last had to burn a cd/dvd… I'm lucky I have an external optical drive I can use.

I tried this backup method (w/o bypassing the pwd), the mobile hd part only works if i use a usb stick (~8G). MiniXp recognized it as it shows on "safe to unplug" options, but won't show on MiniXP explorer when I use the 1T ext. hd. How would you get around it?
