I'm hard of hearing and can't understand the audio. Would you you please turn on the caption option?

ok i dont understand how this works.. If i drag n drop a zip folder from my macbook to a dropbox folder (on my dropbox app on my mac) tthat is a shared folder with a friend, do I have to be online so that he can get the folder?? I mean I just dropped a 500+ GB zip folder into our shared folder, and I can see tthat the zip folder is in there, but it took ZERO time to "upload" the folder (to your server?).. So if it does NOT get uploaded to your server (like with a wetransfer transfer), that means it's still in my mac… So if it's still in my mac then if I shut my mac (and therefore go offline), then how will my friend be able to get this zip folder later (unless I go online again…)??? SO confused…

It’s unbelievable that it’s almost 2020 and dropbox still has no clue about what really is important.
Dark Mode. Dark Mode.  Dark Mode. Dark mode.

This new app is useless without darkmode.
It’s white and blue, and its not even the blue of the dropbox logo.
The fact that your design department did not consider of implementing dark mode is very troubling.
It’s not hard, it’s not a new idea, it’s better for eyes, environment and lots of other reasons.

I’ve been a dropbox user since the beginning.
I’m a professional customer with a professional subscription.
The last year I see all those ‘new features’ which I will never use.

The department that is in charge should get some serious attention  before you will ruin your brand and loose loyal customers.
Darkmode should be implemented ASAP. There are no excuses.
