    Hi, while explaining the substring function " this is sparta" the second parameter, index value you have entered it as 9..can you explain how is that? because the index value will be 7 when we start counting the characters " this is s" (7)

    While explaining the like operator to extract all the e_age equals to 30 select *from employee where e_age LIKE '30_' ; but in your syntax it shows LIKE '3_';. can you please explain this?
